Backhoe Production Could Bring Jobs to Midwest Town →

BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) Officials say as many as 100 jobs could be added by spring as New Holland Construction begins producing tractor loaders this year at Case Construction in Burlington. New Holland’s backhoes for the North American market had been made at an Imola, Italy, plant. JCB Makes Improvements to Its 3C, 3CX, 4CX Backhoes →

From Construction Equipment Guide... JCB has made improvements to the 3C, 3CX and 4CX models in its backhoe lineup. The company also has added a fully enclosed cab to its compact Midi CX backhoe loader. The 3C’s redesigned canopy is available with or without a front windshield. Revised gearing allows the 3C to achieve road travel speeds to 22 mph (35.4 kmh), with added servo brakes to reduce operator pedal effort.
