A year or so from now, the residents of Carroll County, Tenn., will be able to boat and fish on a lake covering 977 acres (395 ha), currently being created near Huntingdon. What’s more, voters were willing to approve a $10 raise in the wheel tax to contribute to the cost of providing this new amenity. The company also has added a fully enclosed cab to its compact Midi CX backhoe loader. The 3C’s redesigned canopy is available with or without a front windshield. Revised gearing allows the 3C to achieve road travel speeds to 22 mph (35.4 kmh), with added servo brakes to reduce operator pedal effort.
