Terex now offers the TX970B tractor loader backhoe. The 15-ft. (4.5 m) class backhoe has all-wheel steer, including crab steer selection. The TX970B has an operating weight of 17,663 lbs. (8,029 kg), a standard dig depth of 15 ft. 11 in. (4.9 m) and an extended dig depth of 20 ft. 4 in. (6.2 m).

In addition, the TX970B has a long backhoe boom for increased reach of 24 ft. (7.3 m) and digging depth of 20.3 ft. (6.1 m).

The flow compensated, closed-center control valve on the backhoe provides controllability and the high ground clearance provides better operation over rough terrain in the construction area, according to the manufacturer.

The TX970B’s dry, wear compensated extendable dipper stick requires little maintenance and standard features include excavator style backhoe controls, power-shift transmission, 4-wheel drive, extendable dipper, suspension seat and a 1.32-cu.-yd. (1 cu m) loader bucket with high back splash and craning hole.

In addition, the TX970B has a return to dig, bucket level indicator, flip-over stabilizer pads, craning valve and bracket, ride on control system, counterweight and cab with defrost and heat as well as air conditioning.
