Felling Trailers
Felling Trailers Inc. recently was awarded a national cooperative contract for heavy equipment trailers through Sourcewell (formerly NJPA). Felling Trailers is well versed in the ease of equipment procurement Sourcewell provides for public purchasing agents, as this is not the first contract Felling has held with them.
"Felling previously held a contract in another product category. When we learned of the opportunity to apply for the heavy equipment trailers category listing, we knew it was the best fit. We have built a strong partnership with Sourcewell over the last 10 years [first contract with NJPA/Sourcewell in conjunction with Federal Contracts Corp in August of 2009] and seen many municipalities, local, county and state government entities adopt the Sourcewell contract and make it part of their standard procurement process," said Pat Jennissen, Felling's SVP of sales/marketing.
Even as a previous contract holder, Felling Trailers nonetheless completed the extensive RFP process to ensure complete adherence to Sourcewell's high-quality standards. Sourcewell members now have the ability to purchase any of Felling's 240 trailer models at an exceptional value through Sourcewell's competitively solicited contract.
Felling Trailers finds great value in maintaining its position within the largest government-purchasing cooperative of its kind that is made up of more than 50,000 members from state, county and local government entities, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States and Canada. Membership with Sourcewell is free and allows members to operate more efficiently by bypassing the bidding process and purchasing from already approved vendors. Using the combined buying power of the collective community, Sourcewell can provide the best possible pricing for all its members while legally adhering to government regulations.
Felling's Sourcewell contract (#121918-FTS) is effective through Feb. 11, 2023, and provides access to the following types of goods and services:
- Utility trailers
- Construction trailers
- Agricultural trailers
- Drop-deck trailers
- Deck-over trailers
- Hydraulic dump trailers
- Pole/reel/coil trailers
- Generator/compressor trailers
- Tender-frame/sprayer-chopper trailers
"This partnership helps public purchasing agents more easily procure the heavy equipment trailers they need along with giving them the peace of mind knowing that they are working with a Sourcewell-vetted company," said Jennissen.
