JCB, the official heavy construction equipment suppliers for Tampa Bay Super Bowl XXXV, are getting dealers across the country to show their football spirit by displaying the unique “JCB Grid Iron Helmets” and providing area residents the chance to win tickets to the Super Bowl this month.

The “Grid Iron” helmets are inflatable and fit over the cabs of JCB 214 backhoe loaders. They were on a nationwide tour of the United States at select JCB dealerships before arriving in Tampa for the Super Bowl, which will be held Jan. 28, at Raymond James Stadium.

Dealers who showcased the helmets throughout December and the beginning of January included: RECO Equipment, Columbus, OH; AIS Equipment, Grand Rapids, MI; and L.B. Smith, Richmond, VA.

JCB has been ramping up its United States presence due recently to its completion of a $100-million investment in the country, which includes the building of the company’s first U.S. manufacturing plant (where it currently builds JCB 214s) and the site of its North American headquarters.
