Eric Ransome, owner of Atlantic Excavator Attachments, has taken to the road to demonstrate how his Black Splitter log splitter attachments can optimize firewood processing, wood chipping, and mulch processing operations. He has been traversing the Mid-Atlantic region conducting free on-site demonstrations to accomplish the mission.

Ransome embarked on this campaign after recognizing that previous on-site demonstrations successfully conveyed the transformative power of this log splitter attachment. His goal is to showcase the Black Splitter's ability to handle and split large timber with a single operator while reducing the manpower and costs associated with traditional operations.

While most of Atlantic's customers mount the cone splitter on various sized excavators, Ransome acquired the Vermeer S725TX Mini Skid Steer for its cost-efficiency, transportability, and diverse functionality. He purchased the compact workhorse in August 2016 from Lumberton, NJ-based Vermeer North Atlantic.

“The combination of the Vermeer S725TX and the Black Splitter has the ability to revolutionize firewood processing, wood chipping, and mulching operations by effortlessly handling and breaking down back-breaking big rounds,” Ransome says. “This impressive team will even split logs that cannot be processed by expensive firewood processors.”
