Virnig Manufacturing Inc.'s V40 open front skid steer brush cutter attachment is designed to rough-cut dense brush and trees up to 3 in. (7.6 cm) in diameter. The three-blade cutting system, mounted to a flywheel, ensures the flywheel bounces off stumps rather than catching and damaging the motor. The cutter quickly mows trees and stumps down to the ground to limit regrowth.

This skid steer brush cutter also features:

• Standard dual hydraulic pressure relief valves with dynamic braking to stop the 150 to 215 lb. flywheel in under 10 seconds.

• Direct drive Eaton motor rated up to 25 gpm (94.6 Lpm) for usage on a wide variety of skid steers.

• Tall push bar at the front provides rigidity and helps push over thick brush and trees.

• ½ by 4 in. (1.2 by 10 cm) single side updraft blades for efficient cutting and mulching.

It is available in 5 and 6-ft. (1.5 and 1.8 m) cut widths with a recommended flow rate of 16 to 25 gpm (30.5 to 94.6 Lpm).

All Virnig products are backed by a one-year warranty, and the skid steer attachments are USA made and built with a universal mount to fit most skid steer loaders including: Bobcat, Caterpillar, ASV, Case, Daewoo, Gehl, JCB, John Deere, Kubota, Mustang, New Holland, Takeuchi, Terex, Volvo, Wacker-Neuson and others.
